I do apologize about my lack of posts. I’d rather not post anything at all then post crap, or a poorly written article. So here’s a makeshift post..
I found this video while looking around Youtube, and I think the people in this video are fantastic. Check ‘em out and let me know how you like them in the comments. You can check out the original artist’s music, including a link to his Facebook and iTunes page over here.
Not to get away from the theme of the site, here are some albums that have been released the past few weeks that I think you all might like.
New in Zune Marketplace… Week of June 29th. To Be Loved: The Very Best of
Papa Roach
Whether you like them or not, this album is a great listen. It features, well, their greatest songs from their studio albums. My personal favorite is last on the album, “Scars (Acoustic)”. You can listen to the non-acoustic version of the song here. If you like it, you can buy it on iTunes, Zune or Amazon MP3.
Streets of Gold
3oh!3
These guys usually aren’t my type of music, but with their weird lyrics and interesting vocal style, they actually aren’t that bad of a listen. They aren’t the greatest band ever but I think you should at least give them a listen. I mean, it is free… so what are you waiting for!? Get to it.(sorry, the album isn’t up on Bing yet, so no streaming of whole songs… you can check out their older stuff, though.)
I can’t feature every new album that the Marketplace offers every week, so these are just the ones that caught my eye (or ears…whatever )
From the rest of the internet…
This week, a friend of mine on Facebook posted a video of a Belgium girl by the name of Selah Sue. She isn’t on Zune Marketplace, so you get a YouTube video… Just as good, right?
This is it. My last chance to make something of my internet time. We will have one post per week, but you’ll never know what you’ll be reading in the post. It will be Music. Weekly.
Music Weekly: Just a kid with a Zune Pass, listening to whatever is new, old, or in between. A lot of music links will go to bing and zune.net, where you can listen to the song in its entirety, and if you like it... buy it!
When he isn't writing the weekly post here, he's on twitter or writing about whatever is new in the Zune world over at Zune Boards
